Frequently Asked Questions
Here you will find the answers to the most common questions about the Wellbeing at Work Programme, the Awards and our Training offer.
Q: Why are there different criteria for small and micro businesses?
A: We recognise that small and micro organisations are different in nature to medium and large organisations.
For smaller organisations it may be harder to identify opportunities to improve employee wellbeing, or find the time or resource to invest in it. Through our small business awards, we have included criteria that are applicable to organisations with fewer than 50 employees, and reduced the number and flexibility of criteria to improve accessibility.
Q: What cost is involved?
A: There is no fee to take part in the accreditation process or get awarded! The programme is funded and run by Public Health at East Sussex County Council
Q: I’m a sole trader, can I take part?
A: Unfortunately, at this time if you are a sole trader you won’t be able to take part in the accreditation programme. However, we have lots of resources, events, training opportunities and information on this site for you to access.
