Workplace Wellbeing Champion Training – May 22
Starts at: 03/05/2022 9:00 am - Duration: 8 hour(s)Faraday House, 1 Faraday Close, Eastbourne, BN22 9BH
This free Workplace Health Champions Training is delivered in partnership with One You East Sussex, as part of the East Sussex Wellbeing at Work Programme. Having Workplace Health Champions is a great way of ensuring that your entire organisation knows where to access to support, and that there are regular activities in place to raise awareness of health and wellbeing. That's why we encourage registered employers to send at least one employee on this crucial training. Attendees will learn how to run health campaigns and activities in the workplace, learn to initiate and sustain health related conversations with their colleagues, gain an awareness of local services and resources that colleagues can be signposted towards for support and understand how to influence others in the workplace. Once qualified, champions will gain access to a bi-monthly networking meeting hosted by the Wellbeing at Work team.
How to book:
This is a full day training, split into two halves:
- Morning: Making Every Contact Count (MECC);
- Afternoon: MECC skills in practice in the workplace.
It is important that any delegate booked onto the course ensures that they can make both sessions, as certification cannot be provided without attendance at both.
