Alcohol use can have a significant impact on businesses and the workplace. It’s thought that around 5% of all work absences are alcohol related. 40 % of employers cite alcohol as a significant cause of low productivity, costing the UK economy as a whole around £7 billion a year.

In support of this years ‘Alcohol Awareness Week’, the subject for our July Wellbeing at Work webinar will be ‘Understanding Alcohol Harms’.
During the session, we’ll aim to dispel some of the myths and misnomers around drinking, open up the conversation about alcohol and alcohol use, talk about the associated risks and how you can reduce them, and increase awareness of how alcohol affects our health and wellbeing. We’ll also be testing your knowledge with our ‘Booze Quiz’, and offering some handy tips and strategies on how you can reduce your drinking this summer, whilst not losing out on the fun!
This webinar is free and open to anyone interested in learning more about alcohol and its effect on health and wellbeing.
