May is National Walking Month. Walking is a free and simple way to be more active, lose weight and improve health and general wellbeing. Experts recommend a brisk daily 20-minute walk to reduce the risk of a number of preventable health conditions, including certain types of cancer, depression, heart disease and diabetes. This month is a great opportunity to promote the benefits of walking to your workforce, and encourage your staff to get walking.
