Impact of Domestic Abuse of the Workplace, Workforce and Employment.
Research has found that 75% of people experiencing domestic abuse will be targeted at work– often experiencing harassing phone calls, unannounced visits from abusive partners and physical assaults.
Domestic abuse also has a serious impact on business and the economy. It is estimated that£316m per year is lost through work absences related to domestic abuse, with around £14billion per year being lost to the wider economy.

In this workshop, you will explore how domestic abuse affects not only the victim, but how it impacts their place of work, their colleagues and their employers, through increased absence, lateness, and lower productivity, and how it serves to reduce health and well being across the workforce community.
